Answer

Yes, it is possible to add borders to the table using the text editor.

Steps:

1. Place your cursor in the table to select the table
2. In the text editor menu, select Table > Table Properties
   
3. In the General tab, place a "1" in the Border field.
   
4. Press the Ok button to apply the border.
