Branding Management
The Branding Management page allows custom branding for the Risk Assessment Platform with options to change colors, links, logos, and a subdomain for company level login URLs.
Use the URL Prefix field to define a subdomain for the login URL. The word entered here is prefixed to your login URL. Using the prefixed URL displays your company branding on the login page. Using the default URL displays default branding on the login page, and company branding only appears after login.
Example: Enter "mycompany" to have https://mycompany.risk-platform.com take users to a branded login page.
When a subdomain is defined in the URL Prefix field, an update is required to DNS entries and SSL certificates.
Depending on your User role permissions, branding can be applied at the Global level or Company level. Refer to the section below that is relevant to your role permissions.
For the Company Admin
Before You Begin
To edit Company settings in Branding Management, you must have the Customise Application Branding permission in at least one of the custom company roles assigned to you. To learn more, see User Access Controls.
Considerations
On the Branding Management page, Company Admins and users with the appropriate permissions can define a subdomain for their company's login URL using the URL Prefix setting.
For the Super Admin
Before You Begin
To edit Global and Company settings in Branding Management, log in as the Super Admin.
Considerations
On the Branding Management page, Super Admins can define a subdomain for each company's login URL using the URL Prefix setting. After defining the URL prefix for a company, you need to ensure the correct DNS entries and SSL certificates are available. The new login URL will fail to work until the network is updated to support the new subdomain.
Step 1: Type a name for your subdomain in the URL Prefix field.
Step 2: Update DNS entries and SSL certificates to support the new subdomain.
Please discuss specific requirements for your environment with your technical implementation group.
Email Template Management
The Email Template Management page allows customisation of the Risk Assessment email templates, email subject, and the sending email address.
Using a custom sending email address requires an update to the DNS TXT/SPF record.
Depending on your user role permissions, email templates are customizable at the global or company level. Refer to the section below that is relevant to your role permissions.
For the Company Admin
Before you begin
To edit settings in Email Management, you must have the Customise Email Templates permission selected in one or more of your roles, under Settings> Email Template Management. To learn more, see User Access Controls.
Considerations
On the Email Template Management page, Company Admins can use the From Email Address settings to define a company-specific sender email address for emails sent from the Risk Assessment Platform. After defining the sending email address, Company Admins must contact their internal IT team to include the Arctic Intelligence outbound server gateway as an authorised sender of mail for their domain. If this is not correctly included in the DNS TXT/SPF record, attempting to send mail from the platform as a customised sending domain will be silently rejected by the Arctic Intelligence sending server.
Step 1: Type the address into the From Email Address field for each type of email that needs to come from your customised sending domain.
Step 2: Contact your internal IT team and ask them to update the DNS TXT/SPF record to include the Arctic Intelligence outbound server gateway as an authorised sender of mail for that domain.
Example: v=spf1 include:your.mailserver.com include:spf.mandrillapp.com ~all
