Crime Level Guidance (New Zealand)

The New Zealand Police Force gathers and releases descriptive information about offenders in New Zealand. In order to understand the location of your business and assess your location crime risk, please follow the following steps:

• Go to New Zealand Police website HERE, follow the steps to select time period (our recommended time period is one year), then select your police district to view the data.
• In AMLA, we assess the risk level of four types of predicate offences: Deceptive Crime, Illicit Trafficking, Personal Crimes and Property Crimes. You can use the relevant NZ crime data to assess your risk level:
• If you wish to visualise your crime risk on a map, you can click HERE, select crime types, time period and district to view the snapshot. The colour and the margin on the edge of the map indicate how severe the crime is in your targeted area.
