- Go to the NSW Local Government Area Excel crime tables page HERE and download the Local Government Area (LGA) crime data file and the New South Wales state-level crime data file.
- Compare your LGA data with the New South Wales state-level average. You can use the LGA rankings to determine whether your district is a high-risk one or not. With a higher ranking, the LGA is more likely to have the selected offences. For example, In 2019, Walgett had the LGA ranking of 1, which means in measurements using the ratio of crime/population, Walgett has the highest crime rate in New South Wales.

- If you want to see your crime risk on a map, you can click HERE and search for your location/district/LGA. The region's colour indicates how severe the crime is in your targeted area. You can click on the “Advanced Filters” under the “Selected Offences Type” for more specific incidents or crimes.
Victoria
- Go to the Crime Statistics Agency download data page HERE and use the Local Government Area dropdown to compare the crime data between your business location and the state average.

- If you wish to visualise your crime risk on a map, click HERE and scroll down to the Crime by Area Map. Select the Police Region and Local Government Area your business location belongs to. Hover over a region to see the type of crimes. The colour of the region indicates how severe crime is in your targeted area.
Queensland
- Click on the Queensland Police Service website HERE and download the relevant reported crime trend data file.
- Compare the district/region/LGA reported offence rates with those of QLD.

- If you want to visualise your crime risk on a map, you can click HERE and select the region your business location belongs to, the type of offence, and the range of crime data you seek. The colour and the margin on the edge of the map indicate how severe the crime is in your targeted area.
Western Australia
- Go to the Western Australia Police Force website HERE and download the 'Crime Time Series Data' under the 'Download Reports and Data' tab.
- In the file, select the tab of the region of your business location and compare data on the tab of “Western Australia”, which is the state average, to determine your business location crime level.

South Australia
- To visualise your crime risk on a map, go to the South Australia Police website HERE and search for your business location (district or postcode). Click the streets on the map, and the crimes that happened within a year (on a rolling basis) will appear on the map.

Tasmania
- Go to the Tasmania Police website HERE and download the latest 'Crime Statistics Supplement' in the Other Corporate Documents section to check the overall crime level. As Tasmania does not report its district data, you can only access the overall crime data.
