Platform: Risk Assessment

Applies to: Super Admin and Company Admin Users

This feature allows Super Admin and Company Admin users to create content domains. Other content in the platform (Risk Models, Control Categories, Control Library) is associated with a domain.

View Domains

Users with appropriate permissions can view the list of Domains in App Setup > Domain.

There are two tabs on the Domain page - Global and Company.

The Super Admin can manage (add/edit/archive/delete) domains in the Global tab and has view-only access to domains in the Company tab.

The Company Admin can manage (add/edit/archive/delete) domains in the Company tab and has view-only access to domains in the Global tab.

Create a Domain

To create a domain, press the New Domain button at the upper right or the Add () button at the lower right. This adds a blank row to the table.

Enter the name of the new domain.

Press the Save () button.

Company Domains

Once a domain has been set up, the following underlying components can be created:

• Risk Models - Comprised of risk groups, risk categories (optional), risk factors and risk indicators. Risk models are managed in App Setup > Risk Model.
• Controls - Comprised of control sets with control name, control test and suggested evidence. Controls are managed in App Setup > Control Library.
• Supporting Documents - Comprised of a list of supporting documents that are typically requested during an assessment. Supporting Document templates are managed in App Setup> Supporting Document Template.

Global Domains

Once a global content domain has been set up, the underlying components can be created and added to a content module (see Content Module Management) so that the content associated with the domain can be licensed.

Delete a Domain

Domains can be deleted or archived depending on whether there are underlying components that rely on them.

• Archive () - domains with underlying components can be archived.
  
• Delete () - domains without underlying components can be deleted.

To see archived items, open the Status filter and select Archived from the dropdown.
