- The Control Details form is now fully customisable using the Screen Forms Designer.

Control Assessment with Control-Specific Questions
- Introducing a new, question-driven approach for evaluating control effectiveness!
- Add control-specific questions to the new Control Questions tab in each control in your Control Library.
- Each question needs an answer set and a weight to be allocated.
- During assessments, assignees respond to the questions and the control effectiveness is calculated using the weighted average method.
- This new method is an alternative to the traditional Control Metrics Matrix, which uses up to four metric questions from the methodology across all controls.
- Choose to add information to the Control Metrics tab or the new Control Questions tab, or add information to both for complete flexibility.
- When adding controls to assessments, the default assessment method is "Metric", but this can be changed to "Questions" or "Ask when adding" in the Company Settings.

Answer Sets for Controls
- When creating answer sets, choose whether the answer set is for risks vs controls.
- Control Answer Sets are methodology-independent and follow an Effectiveness Scaling approach.
- Use the Compare Methodologies dropdown to view scaling effects across methodologies.

Other improvements:
- Control Library Bulk Update - This function has been updated to allow control questions to be copied across controls, from one control to many.
- Answer Set Import File - This import file now has two tabs, one for Risk Answer Sets and the other for Control Answer Sets. Each tab is optional.

Company Settings Update - new settings are available that allow:
- Column configuration options for the Control Library.

- Synchronise Controls across assessment units - answer controls just once per assessment:
- When adding or copying controls from an assessment unit, you now have the option to synchronise them to the source.
- Synced controls will be read-only and automatically updated to reflect the source control's responses, comments, status, workflow, etc.
- A new icon identifies controls that are synced to a source assessment unit.
- Added a new export on the assessment that shows all synced control sources and targets.

- 'Skip' Rules for Risk Indicator Questions
- Create Skip Rules on risk indicator questions in the Risk Model to skip questions that are not applicable when a previous question is answered a certain way.
- When the skip condition is met in the risk assessment, the risk indicator becomes disabled and defaults the answer to "Not Applicable".
- Define one or more conditions using the Basic Rules Builder or *Advanced Rules Builder.
- Conditional Rating Rules for Risk Factors
- Create conditional rating rules on risk factors in the Risk Model.
- When the condition is met in the risk assessment, the rating defined in the rule is applied to the risk factor instead of the calculated rating.
- When a rule is triggered, a new icon appears beside the risk factor's inherent risk rating. Hovering over the icon shows the name of the rule that triggered it.

Version 3.1 - 22 February 2024
- We have improved the way the inherent risk rating is calculated for in-progress risk factors that have unanswered questions. The risk factor's inherent rating now reflects the answered questions more intuitively by ignoring the unanswered questions.
Note: Assessment units that are in progress with unanswered risk questions may display a different inherent rating after this release. - New calculation method - Dynamic Indicator Weights
In the risk assessment, the new Dynamic method will automatically adjust the risk indicator weights proportional to the numeric or percentage responses to the questions and calculate the risk factor inherent risk based on actual volumes or percentages. E.g., customer risk by channel, industry, etc.- Configure the risk model by selecting "Dynamic Indicator Weights" from the dropdown within the risk factor.
- Choose whether the answer to the indicator question will be a number or percentage.
- Finally, create the risk indicator questions and apply an inherent risk rating to each.

- On the Actions and Incidents page, click anywhere on the row to open the action details.
- Incorporate custom fields added through the Screen Forms Designer into the Analytics feature for enhanced data analysis capabilities.

- Calculation Methods for Risk Models
- We are introducing more calculation methods! The first addition to this new set of methods is the "Additive Calculation Method".
- When configuring risk models, you can choose how the risk factor rating is calculated.
- Choose between the default "Weighted Average" or the new "Additive Calculation".
- With "Additive Calculation", you must select an answer set with number ranges for the risk factor. The risk factor rating will be calculated by summing the rating values of the risk indicator answers and mapping the result to the risk factor's answer set.
- More Override Options
- Apply inherent risk rating overrides to Risk Groups, Risk Categories and Assessment Units.
- Apply control effectiveness rating overrides to Control Categories and Assessment Units.
- Overrides become available to approvers when all risks or controls are approved.

- Quantitative Answer Sets
- Record precise values in the risk analysis by creating answer sets that accept typed numbers from users instead of selecting from a pre-defined list.
- When creating an answer set, you can now select from two answer formats: Options List or Number Input.
- Suffixes can be shown when using number inputs, such as % or MB. Accepts up to 3 characters.
- New import/export files to support answer sets of either answer format.
- Data-Driven Risk Assessments - Link assessment units to API data sets and answer all the risk analysis questions with the press of a button.
- Create risk models that are linked to API Data Sets.

Version 2.3 - 19 December 2022
- New users can be set as Assignees on risks and controls before they activate their account. These 'pre-activation' users appear with an asterisk beside their name in the Assignee dropdown.
- The risk and control status "Complete" has changed to "Awaiting Submit" and continues to represent that all questions in the risk or control have been answered.
- In the Dashboard, right-click a risk, control, or assessment to "Open link in new tab".
- The Dashboard is the default home page for new users. All users can switch their homepage using the 'Home Page' toggle at the upper right of the Dashboard or Risk Assessment History pages.

My Dashboard
- The new Dashboard provides a view of all work assigned to you.
- Displays recent and outstanding risks, controls, assessments, assessment units, and actions.
- Consists of widgets that can be resized and repositioned using the Configure option.
- My Outstanding Risks: risks allocated to you as Assignee or Approver, grouped by status.
- My Outstanding Controls: controls allocated to you as Assignee or Approver, grouped by status.
- My Recent Assessments: assessments and assessments units you most recently updated (since this release).
- My Recent Risks and Controls: risks and controls you most recently updated (since this release).
- My To Do List: all your outstanding work items, with tabs to view by Date, Status, or Priority.

Version 2.1.1 - 2 June 2022
- Overrides on risk/control/assessment unit are now only removed by a recalculation if the recalculated rating matches the override rating (i.e. override is no longer needed).
- The Preview Audit popup window now displays the current calculated rating after an override is applied.
- Risk Factors are automatically reopened when a recalculation causes the Risk Factor ratings to change. The allocated Assignee receives a notification email when this happens.
- Changed the warning message that appeared whenever a user triggers a recalculation. The new message now only appears when the recalculation causes a risk factor to reopen, alerting the user that the risk factor needs to be reviewed and resubmitted.

Version 2.0 - 2 November 2021
- Use the new 'Export Assessments to Excel' button () on the Risk Assessment History page to generate a report of all Risk Assessments and their ratings.
- The heatmap-style CSV exports can now also be exported to Excel with rating colours and formatting. Access these from the Assessment > Action Menu () > Export option.
- The name and job title of stakeholders on the Context and Control Questionnaire pages can now be updated.
- Answer Sets linked to deleted risk models can now also be deleted.
- Built an API to add/update/delete data sets, however, data sets cannot yet be used to update risk assessments. The ability to auto-populate and calculate answers in risk assessments from this data will be available in a future release.

- Multi-domain Assessments
- Create enterprise-wide assessments spanning multiple domains such as Anti Money Laundering, Anti Bribery and Corruption, and Sanctions.
- Within the assessment, you can now create assessment units from any available domain, allowing coverage of AML, ABC, and Sanctions within the one assessment.
- Assessment Report configuration to exclude and include specific assessment units.
- Expanding on the configurability of assessment reports, it is now possible to create 'Custom Groupings' of assessment units and weighting distributions for assessment reports.

- Restricted Users and Assessment Unit Owners
- A new "Restricted" setting is available for users. When enabled, the user is limited to only the Assessment Units they are assigned.
- To support this setting a new role is available "Restricted Role". Users with the "Restricted" setting should only have this role selected.
- Restricted users can be assigned to assessment units using the new "Owner" field on the Assessment Unit Details window at creation and update.
- App Setup Management Bulk Field Updates
- Update multiple fields at once when working in App Setup for Risk Models, Answer Sets, Methodologies, and Country Risk Models.
- Press the new "Bulk Update" button to enable inline editing of the records in the table.
- Descriptions for App Setup Content
- Add descriptions to the Methodologies, Risk Models and Answer Sets in the App Setup windows.

- Word reports for Assessments and Assessment Units were reworked and now include a methodology overview, rating tables, risk group and control category heatmaps, and expanded appendices.
- CSV exports are available at the Assessment level, including heatmaps and data for all assessment units within the assessment.
- CSV exports at the Assessment Unit level are improved and have new columns: Weightings, Answers, Answer Ratings.
- General Enhancements:
- The "Comment" fields now support 5000 characters, up from 500.
- Data tables can now be sorted, filtered, resized, and allow keyword searches.
- The “Show Archived” checkbox has been moved to the Status column filter settings. It is unselected by default; to see archived data select it in the Status column's filter settings.
