Events

The term "events" is used to describe breaches, incidents and near misses.  This feature allows to track and manage breaches, incidents and near-misses real-time using powerful data analytics to shine the light on all aspects of the breach and incident management process, providing transparency and clarity on any incidents to interested stakeholders.

Event Management Dashboard

Status

This dashboard element provides an overall summary of the number and percentage of breaches and incidents by status (i.e. open, in-progress, on-hold or closed).

Severity

This dashboard element provides an overall summary of the number and percentage of breaches and incidents by severity (i.e. critical, high, medium or low).

Who first identified the event?

This dashboard element provides an overall summary of the number and percentage of breaches and incidents by who first identified the breach, incident or near miss.

Event Ageing

This bar chart displays an aged view outlining how long breaches and incidents have been open for within the last twelve months.

Creating an event

This is the main page for creating a new breach and incident item. Simply give the breach and incident a title, complete the general information section, complete incident raised by section and the incident owner section adding any attachments or linked items (actions, issues and risks) and complete the full description, describe any steps taken and add any case notes.

As additional information is added, these are captured along with a full audit trail to provide transparency and clarity to interested stakeholders.

Event Manager

This page displays all breaches and incidents and provides a mechanism for applying bulk updates or drilling into the details of the underlying breach and incident.

There is a full filtering, sorting and searching capability to allow breaches and incidents to be grouped and viewed as required.
