Applies to: Risk Assessment Platform
Question
- How do you add text to the generated report when it puts all its contents into table cells that do not dynamically span across pages?
- Why is my long paragraph being cut off at the bottom of the page?
- How to add a chapter or paragraph to the generated Word report?
Answer
The reporting engine used by the Risk Assessment Platform renders all the contents into tables based on what is in the assessment or assessment unit.
When attempting to add more text to the report, the table cells can only expand to the end of the page and cannot span multiple pages.
To add pages, chapters, or paragraphs outside of the table cells, follow these steps:
Steps
- Open the generated Assessment Report or Assessment Unit Report in MS Word.
- Turn on paragraph marks in MS Word:
- Select the Insert tab in Word and then place your cursor at the end of a table or paragraph where you want to insert your content. It may take a few attempts until the Page Break option becomes available - use the paragraph marks to help you.
- After adding the page break, you can add your content to the report either in front or behind the page break.
